Education Cents was created by CollegeInvest, a not-for-profit division of the Colorado Department of Higher Education. They provide free financial education tools, with a focus on saving and paying for college.

Some of the best financial literacy curriculum, designed for teens, college students, and adults; they also have wonderful tools to teach you about personal finances and help you with money management. These free resources include:

The National Credit Union Administration, (NCUA) launched the first phase of a free, new, and fun youth microsite, Pocket Cents!

Pocket Cents provides access to tools and information designed to teach school-age youth positive financial habits.

NCUA also has a Twitter campaign with daily postings focused on tax tips, money management for youth, savings, investing, retirement and homeownership.

Pocket Cents is located at the same website that NCUA sponsors for adult financial education, MyCreditUnion.gov.
